Exploring Austin, TX with a New Camera

Posted on Updated on

This year spring break snuck up on me.
I was so busy working on the Sparrow and my original play that I didn’t think about what I wanted to do with a week long break. But, when I thought about it more the truth is: I’m graduating in May and I don’t know when I’ll be back to Texas. So I stuck around and spent the week exploring.
I also just got a shiny new camera in the mail! Thanks to my past self getting good grades in high school I was able to use scholarship grant money to buy a really nice Nikon D5300 DSLR camera with a 18mm-200mm lens and a Rode VideoPro Microphone. My pictures and videos will NEVER BE THE SAME!
Now, I’d love to share with you the photos I took this week while exploring Texas. Here’s what I took while exploring Austin for a day. All photos and their copyright belong to me.

Have you ever visited Austin? Any pro photographer tips?
